Get to know Aitor Gayo, Lab Manager in the raw materials area at Ventós, where he focuses on flavor ingredients. Aitor is celebrating a major milestone, 10 years being part of the Ventós team! With a decade of experience, Aitor plays an important role in managing and evaluating the quality of the raw materials from our extensive catalogue. Over the 3.500 products, he highlights high-quality lemon oil. Although at first it might seem like a simple ingredient, Aitor appreciates its rich aromatic nuances and that perfect hint of acidity that shines through scent and taste. During his career, one piece of advice has stuck with him: “Learn to listen in order to keep learning”. This mindset continues driving his growth and curiosity every day in the lab. Yesterday, we enjoyed a fun #teambuilding session at our offices! As part of Global Meeting Week, we organized a series of challenges, some inspired by our industry, like preparing mocktails and muffins using different essences, and others just for fun, to create shared memories and laughter. This annual teambuilding is always a highlight of the week, giving colleagues visiting from other subsidiaries the chance to enjoy more than just meetings and presentations. There’s space for connection, creativity, and good times too. We wrapped up the day with a snack buffet where every dish featured a unique essence, tying everything together perfectly.
